In the last months significant improvements were made on the code. Today ver 0.2 is released. The main new features are:

  1. all variable names in English.
  2. improved sensitivity of the leak sensor.
The leak sensor recognises fluids inside the case. The red LED will be constantly flashing if a leak was detected. Do not touch any part of the microstill it might result in electric shock or death. Disconnect the appliance from the mains!
  3. programm setup added.
If the red stop button is pressed for 1 second the setup is entered. Red, yellow and green LED are flashing. The number of flashes indicates the setting for column temperature and pump speed. This feature might be required for high altitudes. In case the microstill is operated at 3000 m (10,000 ft) the boiling point will be 10 C lower.
  4. smooth regulation of cooler temperature.

The code is available from

The configuration of the shield and modules are not affected. Please update to ver 0.2 as major issues have been resolved.

You’re so interesting! I don’t suppose I have read anything like that before.
So great to find someone with original thoughts on this topic.
